Best of Both Worlds Season 2


November's edition of the best of both worlds networking cocktail party went down on the 7th of November at N-tyce lounge. It was a fun filled affair where people from the entertainment industry came out to interact with their counterparts in the corporate sector. Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele-Oloyede was there to keep everyone laughing. There was a fashion exhibition by Damaris coolture and a fashion show by Estomi where Nigerian artist Glen sang his hit track "Movement" for the models to strut their stuff. Other artists that performed include Miss Saeon, Rasheed CMC, J Royalty (17 voices). The crowd enjoyed some rib cracking jokes from comedian Tyv- funny. Evict rape Africa was picked as the charitable initiative that was supported for the month of November and the initiator, Mr Treasure "Teekay" Kalu was there to talk about his initiative.

Seasoned broadcaster/nollywood actress, Katherine Obiang was there to create awareness for a new movie she starred in called "Journey to self". There was also a best dressed competition hosted by Latasha Ngwube where the winner won a gift voucher from Nigerian designer, Toju Foyeh. It was a fun night and the hosts Ariyike and MC Prince did a great job by keeping the crowd active throughout the event and the guests had fun when the mic was left open for People to express themselves.

The next edition of BOBW takes place on Wednesday, the 12th of December at N-tyce Lounge, Karimu Kotun, V.I from 6pm-10pm. There would be a fashion show by Nigerian fashion designer, Fab Lane. Kuku's hair will be there to do a hair display. There would be musical performances will be by M-thrill, Leo wonder, Blackmagic, Miss Bimi, Classiq, Oloade cucu, J Royalty (17 voices) and a surprise artist. Comedy will be by Mc Prince, Extreme and Mc Parrot. Admission is free!

Best Of Both Worlds - 3rd October, 2012



The maiden edition of Best of Both Worlds Networking Cocktail party (BOBW) was held at N-tyce Lounge, Karimu Kotun, V.I, Lagos on Wednesday, the 3rd of October and was hosted by Spice Tv's Presenter, Ariyike and funny man, MC Prince. The event aims  to create a networking platform between the entertainment industry and the corporate sector.

The guests had a whole lot of fun as there was an open mic session where people were given the microphone to express themselves. There was a fashion exhibition by Dorothy Ughenu, Creative designer for Dot Bags and she spoke about the inspiration behind her pieces.
The event was fun filled all the way and had a lot of young professionals, CEOs, fashionistas, media personalities, actors and artists in attendance.

 Artists that graced the stage with their musical performances include F-Shaw, Glenn Mena, Jay-Glow, Vocal Slender and Boomerang.

 They also had a male and female azonto competition where the winners        went home with customised perfumes from mystiquee perfumes.

The event, put together by on air Tv Personality, Ariyike Akinbobola aims at bringing the leading ladies and gentlemen in the entertainment industry to interact with their counterparts in the corporate sector, support and showcase talented fashion designers, promote upcoming aritists, support and create awareness for one charitable organisation every month and just generally party for a good cause. 

Vocal Slender's Ghetto Love project was the charitable event picked for the month of October and he came out to enlighten the guests about his initiative where he aims at doing everything possible to show love, assistance and help to the children of the ghetto in his upcoming December's edition of Ghetto Love project.
There was also a best dressed competition where friends were allowed to nominate their friends who looked exceptionally good in their outfits and the other guests were the judges of the night. Latasha Ngwube of Vanguard Allure Magazine hosted this particular segment and it was all fun.
The BOBW networking cocktail party would hold every first wednesday of the month at N-tyce Lounge, Karimu Kotun, V.I from 6-10pm. The next edition would hold on wednesday, the 7th of November and there would be a fashion show by upcoming fashion designer, Estomi. There would be a surprise guest and artist performances by Flowssick, Saeon, Glen Mena, Rasheed CMC, J-Royalty and Bimi. The charity that would be supported for November is "Evict Rape Africa".


The event aims to to create a networking platform between the entertainment industry and the corporate sector. 

The next edition would hosted by the same hosts, the originator of BOBW and Spice Tv's leading presenter Ariyike Akinbobola and MC Prince, one of Nigeria's fastest growing comedians who's also co-host on Alibaba's radio show on Nigeria info 99.3F.m. Attendance is free!!!
